If you're like me and have little money then you will be looking for bargains where ever you go, my favorite place is car boot sales as you can pick up a right bargain for a low low price. people normally are getting rid of their stuff because they want space for something new they have bought or they do it for a living to make cash.

Me and the wife go to car boot sales twice a week Saturdays and Sundays, Saturday car boot start later than Sundays this is at 12 pm UK time and run till 3.30pm cost to pitch up is £11 per car and for some one to walk around is £1, I am a believer that you should not have to pay to walk around a car boots.

Today, we went to twin oak car boot in Chesterfield near to the m1 motor way junction 29.
It was so busy they had to open an extra car park to make space for buyers as the sellers had taken nearly 3 fields. we got there at 1 pm and caught the free bus up to the entrance, walking around and there were some really good bargains, some one was selling a £45 carp fishing rod and only wanted £12 brand new. I bought vape juice for my e-cig and this was 6 vapes for £5 and it was not imported crap that can course pop corn lung. My daughter bought a Barbie doll van cost her £2 in box used a hand full of times. I bought my wife a nail kit what professionals use at a value of £100 I got it with a bit of haggling from £40 down to a tenner. I like to haggle, it's what I am known for. one of my friends phones me when he's buying something just to get me to get the price down. My other daughter got a Disney princess out fit what costs £15 pound new we got for £2.50

So there are massive savings to be made if you look in the right places
If a seller gives you a price don't be worried about knocking a couple of pound of the price as that's why it could be so high so that you interact there is a buzz when you're selling and they want you to engage with them.
Don't offer to give them silly prices, ask what they want for it and think of a number in your head then just go for it, normally I have already figured out what I would pay for something before I would even start to talk numbers.

@wrongjohn and my self went to Chesterfield United car boot a few weeks back and there was this watch that he was wanting, as we walked by we asked the seller what he wanted for it and it was around £25, as we walked away @wrongjohn said to me could I get it any cheaper, so I went back with a £10 figure in my head what @wrongjohn had given me to get the watch down too. I said to the seller I'll give you £10 for the watch, he said £15 so been the cheeky chap I am I went down to £7, the seller said How does that work? I played dumb "what do you mean?" the seller was a little confused that I'd to come down with the amount. He said are you not supposed to meet me in the middle at £12.50, so I said well I want it for £10 so I thought you might come down to £10, the seller did not really know what to do with him self, but his wife/partner said to him "how often do you even wear it? let them have it for £10. so we walked away with a watch for £10. we went on eBay and valued it and it sells for £45 second hand but there was no new price so I could not tell you what it was worth new.

As you can see it pays to haggle.

Try your nearest car boot and see what bargains you can find, there is some really cool stuff and you never know you might see me down there too.
