It's so funny how when a dog is asleep, you can touch them and scratch them. You can talk a lot. You could probably drop something on them and they just shake it off and hardly care.
But then you start eating a piece of banana bread and ::sniff:: ::sniff:: that's what wakes them up.
Totally goes against your instincts of what's okay and what isn't when someone is trying to sleep.

I have no recollection of what that particular banana bread looked like, or even if it was any good, or how I felt about the raisins.
Back then, there were gig jobs and a service sector in America. Today there's nothing to be had.
Nothing besides driving a car. Perhaps to deliver a covid-laced box to an unmasked, unnecessary, unwelcoming roué.
Who needs it?
