I talked about this festival before, but I didn't know what day I would go yet.
It was all depending on what day Rebels of the Sacret Heart would be playing. This is the new band of one of my favorite singers, who was previously in Scrum. He is one of the best live artists I've seen so far and I'm really curious to see what his new band is all about!
Let me share a video of Scrum, so you'll know what kind of festival Zomerfolk is and you'll see who the singer is!
Today, his new band added a gig on Facebook, saying they'll be playing at Zomerfolk on saturday the 24th of june! Right after that, I bought two tickets. Very excited to go! Now I'm just hoping my favorite mead vendor will be there again for some delicious mead!
If you enjoy folk music and/or medieval/fantasy themed festivals and you happen to be in the neighbourhood (the north of the Netherlands), I can definitely recommend Zomerfolk!
