It had been some time since I had access to some Kurt Vonnegut.
I read a number of his works as a child at the behest of my mother.
I later encountered more in library during a time I had little else to do.
If you haven't had the pleasure I would recommend this link.
But, just for today, Kurt came to me through this link
It is a short story about Harrison, a 14 year old exceptional boy trapped in a world ruled by force.
You might give it a few moments of your time.

The only theft ever done, by me, in my three score and ten plus years of existence was to steal the full paper back collection of Kurt's from my local library. Those were in the days before the scanners one now needs to walk through now.
Player Piano still offers me the strength of resistance.

Looks like it is still in print, I can't find a good pdf of it.
Here it is on the web, though.
I'll have to make time to read it to see if I've read it before.
