Last year, I read more than 40 books. It was a lot. It was nice, probably my record.
This year, however, I decided that I would slow it down.
For that reason, I came up with this plan: between each new book I read, I will re-read Leo Perutz's THE SWEDISH CAVALIER, again and again.
It's such an efficient, concise, and entertaining masterpiece, that it fits perfectly my goal: to take a break between readings of new books and to achieve perfect knowledge and mastery of this one book.
And you... If you had ONE BOOK to read ALL YEAR, what would it be?
