#Build-it is a community, born out of the need to empower and strengthen DIY (do it yourself) projects, How-to tutorials and life hacks. Among many others, Build-it.io was set up as a means to encourage and reward high-quality DIY and How-to projects.

Our curation account on Build-it.io known as @build-it.curator is fully powered with BUILD tokens (approximately 90k build power) ready to reward all valid entries.

The Daily Build

Without a doubt, we're in awe of how active and fertile the steem platform is, in less than a month, we've had hundreds of users using our tags, and over 300 accounts holding our Build token on Steem engine. It is for this reason we've designed The Daily Build --- It will serve as a daily bulletin of manually curated articles and projects that use our recommended tags: #diy, #build-it, #how-to, #doityourself, #build.

How-to make your own Speculaaskruiden | For us Dutchies living abroad

@anouk.nox

It’s not too often that I miss Dutch food, but more the availability of some products whenever I have the cravings. For example, in Holland, you buy “Hagelslag” in big cartons to sprinkle on your sandwich. I took that for granted all my life, almost never eating that on my bread honestly until I moved abroad and suddenly craved for it.

How To See The Punch and Kick To Defend and Counter-Attack

@rezoanulvibes

We talk about different strikes and how you can defend yourself. To defend any attack, you need to see that. If you cannot see a specific strike, you will not be able to defend that.

Pottery Wheel Projects

@jluvs2fly

It is freezing cold today and one of my teachers did not show up for class. I was glad that the classroom was opened up for us to work independently because I had brought 25 pounds of clay to class so that I could use the wheel.

DIY book

@cassidydawn

So today I am doing a post on how to make a book “from scratch.” This book takes longer than most of the other projects I shared on here. It is quite fun to design the covers for books because you can get really creative with it and glue things on or even leave it one solid color.

My next Lego build - Image and video

@galenkp

I've just completed the first Lego build I've done in years - More years than I'd like to count, to be honest. It was a Volkswagen Beetle which was enjoyable. It was my first car, literally, as I bought a 1964 Beetle back in 1986 when I was 16 - It wasn't the coolest or the Plymouth Roadrunner I really wanted, but it was mine, bought with my own money from working at the local supermarket after school. I was proud of every little rusty piece of it. So - What better Lego set to rekindle my love of Lego right?

In an attempt to fairly reward the authors, we've set 15% beneficiary for each of the featured authors, making it 75%. Additionally, a 5% beneficiary is set to @null. The remaining 20% will be powered up to keep curating.

It is our pleasure to bring you SteemNavi, our second initiative after Build-It.

SteemNavi is a springboard site to help you navigate the STEEM ecosystem with ease.
