I'm leaving for Singapore with no money and no suitcase on Monday and this should be an interesting trip.
The reason I have no money is that I am a big failure on STEEM and everywhere else I try to earn money. The reason I will have no suitcase is because a wheel is broken on the one I would use and I have no money to get it fixed.
So I am taking a handbag and hoping it will not be too heavy. I will need to walk in and out to the hostel from the bus I take from Kuala Lumpur since I will not have money for the Singapore subway.
The good news is that I did get enough money to be able to stay at the hostel I booked. So at least I will not be walking the streets for four days.
Am I packed?
No! But how much am I taking anyway? Not much!
- clothes, change of clothes, something to sleep in
- headphones
- shower shoes
- towel, washcloth
- brush, hair ties
- water big and little bottle
- sugar/salt mixture against dehydration
- drinks - buy some for cheap on the way out the door here in Kuala Lumpur
- food - buy some for cheap at my LRT stop here in Kuala Lumpur
- first aid kit, toiletries
- passport
- other ID
- cash MYR - need for transport to the main bus station and travel food.
- cash SGD - convert whatever else I have left
- debit card - hopefully get more STEEM money out somewhere along the way
- umbrella
- tissues
- wipes
- reading glasses
- pen, notepad
- sunglasses
- phone and charger
- wifi gadget and charger
- back scratcher - haha, it's not like you are here to help me!
I'm posting information here so I will have it online when I need it.
This is the information about my buses in and out of Singapore.
Here is my hostel confirmation:
A map of where I will be - showing the closest subway stop
Closer in to show me what is near where I will stay
How I will walk to and from the main bus.
Some banks from my country I want to visit and my Embassy. I'm hoping there is a way to get an actual bank account with my passport. Not that I have money for this now, but for future reference.
Close up of the first bank.
Close up of the second bank
How to get to the Embassy.
From the embassy back to the hostel
Reminding myself how to get to the main bus station in Kuala Lumpur.
How to get back to my KL condo if the bus takes me to the wrong place like they have done before.
My photo for the thumbnail of this post is of some amazing and inexpensive hawker stall shrimp fried rice I ate in Singapore last time I was there. Hopefully I will find something just as good and cheap on this next trip. Since I am writing this post on my food blog, I at least want one photo of food!
Bon Voyage to me :)
@fitinfun I do not know how this works, I tranfered, or think I did, 20 steem dollars for you, I know it is not much but hope I did it right and you get it. Have fun in Singapore meeting all steemians.

I am happy to hear that you got money for your hostel. Not just happy. Relieved.
But, I would like for you to consider some mindset coaching, just like you have fitness/weightloss coaching.
I understand that you are struggling.
I understand that describing things as "tight" is an under exaggeration.
However, from here it seems that you are living the (nomadic) life you want. You have left the toxicity of San Diego. You are healthier than ever.
Please stop calling yourself a failure, you are attracting more failure to you! You are NOT a failure in everything, you have visited places I have never been to, have had life experiences worth writing about, and are living off your writing. No boss to beg for time off to (I recently got fired for needing time off to deal with my eviction - I didn't beg) and the ability to try a new place if this one does not work. You also have lots of courage.
I am not trying to get you to gloss over the hard times, that is just silly. I am just trying to stop the "I am a failure at everything." attitude. You could be in San Diego, obese, and begging for food stamps right? And please stop the "I have always been a failure at finances" A failure at finances wouldn't ever get to spend 9 weeks at home with their new baby, creating beautiful memories despite the heat.
I am praying along with you. Upvoting lots of your posts, and wishing you the best.
Please consider being more kind to yourself. You deserve it.

Thank you @metzli. I really appreciate seeing this today. I am normally optimistic and was tired and stressed out while writing this last night. I just need to do better and too much worry is taking a toll on me. Today will be a better day, and your support means the world to me.

I thought I just read you csn not pay for the hostel.
I always travel light. Sunglasses, underwear, 1 set of clothes, towel, washcloth, toothbrush, id, phone, adapter, pen.
Walk, sit, ask for the way/a ride/help 💕

I will. I know I can carry what I need for such a short trip. I will be out the door for it in 25 hours and it will be a good time, I am sure. TY for everything, my friend.
