People fear most the unknown. The white areas of maps always feature monsters. It’s never new desserts, exotic lovers or free land (which seems a better guess, in hindsight.) The most feared unknown of all is death. What if death is actually the best change that could happen? We have no idea. But we have multi-billion dollar industries pretending to fight it (health care), securitize it (religions) or manufacture it (weapons), luckily with quite similar failure. It’s reassuring that as mankind progresses, we can make near zero difference faster and faster. I have no clue what might follow death, but it will get twice as interesting once I get there, that I guarantee.

I would say that the most likely answer is that there is nothing after death, just complete blankness. I think that the only interesting things can happen before death, but of course, I can't be certain. It still feels a little pointless to stay alive, though.
