The Europeans definitely don't like and trust each other, apart from in small groupings.
I'd say the Scandinavians got on well (Denmark, Sweden, Norway and Iceland). And the Benelux countries (Belgium, Netherlands and Luxembourg). But Greece and Italy loathe Germany. The Poles don't like Germany.
France is the most interesting - official France of elites and politicians get on with Germany, but amongst the voters there is a residual resentment about the war that has been getting stronger in recent years as Germany has surpassed France.
You have to wonder how long the farce of the EU will continue, given these hostilities.
