Yeah, this is one of the things that makes me the most disturbed about this platform. You have no idea how much money has been syphoned out of this platform. It would have gone to people like you.
We are still hashing out the account signup system. I think the simplest thing is just all about making reasonable, very low limits to start with. People will be glad for a platform that is not dominated by whales. They won't mind that they can only make a few posts and maybe 10-20 votes a day. They will work their way up, and because there isn't the shadow of the early adopters who premined their way to absurdly large stakes and used it to maintain centralisation of the system, they will invest their little money into it and it will grow organically, and maybe after a time, a lot of money will pile up and the steady price performance will then start bringing big money, who buy in for the money, not for the control. Most of the people with the big stake in here have absolutely nothing to say wortht reading.
By the way, there is no need for you to sign on for a list. We aren't going to migrate accounts. Just check up on the github periodically and you will see a big announcement appear on the README (front page) of all of the repositories here:

I will be working on getting a dev blog created as well, so that will also let you know about it. From a promotion perspective, I think it would be really good if we could get a system set up where people can subscribe to news about it. In fact, maybe the easiest way is if I set up a Facebook page.
In the meantime, you can also just hang out with us in the Discord chat. https://discord.gg/AmyB6ee
