Leyland Marina 262-SIX project. Part 4.

in cars •  6 years ago

Welcome to part 4 of the Marina project, the last few day's i have been getting the car cleaned up. I don't like dirty cars to work on so a cleaning i go, so far i have given the engine bay a good degreasing.

Drove the car out of the shed first and you may notice i had given the front drivers guard a polish to see how the paint would come up. Rather good for 45 year old paint.

And now one i prepared earlier.

Also found the original hubcaps in a box of parts that were in the boot. Thought i would clean these up to see how good they are. Very good condition to :)

The incorrect hubcaps that were fitted when i bought the Marina.

Now cleaned up is much better.

And back on were it should be and not in a box in the boot.

That is all the progress updates for now on the Leyland Marina. Slowly slowly making progress and at this time i have no time frame to finish this car and most classic cars are never finnished anyway. Thanks for following along with me on this journey.

Yes thank you.
