Do you take good maintenance of your car? Why or why not?

Yes and i like to do car maintenance myself because garages overcharge for that. It's not so hard to do an oil change or replace the air filter. The only issue is that with modern cars you get a warning on the display that you have to go to the garage for maintenance and can't reset it yourself. I have a small device that i use to read error codes and reset them.

This is a bluetooth adapter that you can plug into your obd2 port (every modern car has one). You then have to download an app called torque, there are 2 versions a free and paid one called torque pro and torque lite. With that app you can read out all error codes of your car and reset them when you do the maintenance yourself.

It's also handy that you get extra information on the error codes you have because often you only see that the engine light is on without knowing exactly what the problem is.

This is how the app works:

I got a new car 2 weeks ago and an obd bluetooth adapter was the first thing i installed in the car :p. You can also use it as a  HP, Torque, Speed, Accel, Fuel data meter. Some people use their phone/tablet as secondary screen to measure turbo boost etc when racing.
