Cats are very intelligent animals. Though seemingly distant at times and perhaps moody, they are very observant and will understood most habits that are imposed or taught to them. It is an entirely different issue if they wish to follow as they maintain a liberal and independent lifestyle which they consciously control.

Cats are natural predators and will devise strategies and adapt their behaviour to match. They are alert and observant animals that will often choose options that suit their temperament and desires at the time. One may even catch their cat admiring themselves in the mirror. Research has found that cats are most likely not self-aware, they may not even care in the slightest. That’s just who they are.

While cats are a very able species, their temperament defines what they will do regardless if certain things are well within their ability. An example of this can be drawn from how cats like to act and be perceived within society. They are highly athletic hunters with agility and speed that is well suited to vigorous moment. Despite this, cats choose to leisurely carry themselves with elegance and reveals that cats are very conscious and particular about their choice of actions.

Getting to know a cat is no easy task. It requires patience, an observant eye and guided guessing. Forming a bond with the furry feline is heavily influenced by what a cat feels and wishes to reciprocate with as opposed to feeling a duty to its owner. This mutual relationship needs to be nursed through many activities and much easier at a young age if starting with a kitten. This gives chance to introduce certain behavioural expectations from a young age.

The mutual bond begins with getting used to being handled by the owner. Social interaction is key and not between just humans, allowing a cat to socialise with other cats will be beneficial if it is to be alone from a young age. These steps will help to achieve a sense of independence for the cat while also being comfortable being around its owner and perhaps guests also. Building confidence in a cat is especially important to avoid the possible social caveats that one can develop through lack of interaction and social activity.

Your cats are lovely, as always!

For me, one of the indicators that cats are really intelligent is their understanding of using meows to communicate with their human companions... even though adult cats don't use meowing to communicate with other cats... it takes a certain amount of reasoning power to make such a distinction.

=^..^=

this is quite interesting !
