Yes! Day 3!!
Today, I decided to try something different. Instead of going to a class or doing a yoga session, I set a timer to go off every hour.
Here is why. I wanted to kind of see what I am doing with my time. Sometimes, we think it took 10 minutes to do something. But what happened to the clock? It is two hours later. Has that happened to you? It happens to me all the time!!!
So, every hour the alarm goes off and I make an assessment - what did I actually get done in that hour.
The second reason I was doing this is to stretch every time the alarm goes off.
Here I am trying to take a picture of myself doing downward facing dog - a yoga pose. The photo didn't turn out all that great. It is way harder than you think to be upside down and try to get your body into the picture. This was the best of five :(
The other part of my exercise for today was garden work. I lifted and moved and pulled and carried. In short, all kinds of pretty heavy activity. Yes, gardening counts! But not sitting in your garden doing nothing :)
Here I am right next to a little apple tree.
What did you do today??
