Kiambu Men Prison is about 30 minutes north east of our capital city Nairobi. It currently holds five hundred and fifty prisoners and remandees. Kiambu is one of the country's young prison and its population mostly consists of young men. A few old men ranging up to eighty something are locked there too.
Today we took some essentials as early Christmas gifts and plant some trees within the prisons ground. We, Clean Start Kenya joined AAR Healthcare Kenya and Rotary Madaraka to visit and give the men behind those bars some hope.
