ABIDE IN JESUS CHRIST (Everyday Rhema)

BIBLE PASSAGE: 1 John 4: 1-5
I am the true vine, and my Father is the husbandman.
2 Every branch in me that beareth not fruit he taketh away: and every branch that beareth fruit, he purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruit.
3 Now ye are clean through the word which I have spoken unto you.
4 Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me.
5 I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.

THE MESSAGE
A branch begins to die the moment you cut it off from a tree. This is the challenge facing Christendom today. Many believers, for various reasons are completely disconnected from God. This process of isolation eventually leads to death! Reconnect to God and remain with Him. Do not allow a seeming delay in answers to your prayers cut you off from the Vine. Remind yourself about the faithfulness of God, how He comes through at the right time. Except you abide with and stay glued to the Vine, you cannot receive those fruits that you have been yearning for.

To abide in Jesus means to relate with Him and keep His commandments which primarily imply that we should love God with all our hearts, souls, minds and to love our neighbour as ourselves. One way to display our love for God is through our trust, obedience, and devotion to Him. We pray in love. We obey in love. When we do this, we will bear fruit of righteousness. Abide in him, and He will abide in you. He who began a good work in you will complete it; He who called you is faithful; He will surely do you good.

Prayer Points
Father Lord, I declare that my testimony has come; no devil shall be able to stop it in Jesus’ name!
Oh Lord, fill me with the inflow of Your fullness so that I may live, grow and bear fruit in Jesus' name!
My King, by Your mercy help me, my family members and all I come in contact with, to make it to Eternity with You in Jesus‘ name!
