How I Got Myself a "Free" Euphonium
Look at this beauty!
Wondering how I got this $1700 USD beauty "for free"? Well, to be honest, I just go lucky. I had a power down and transfered some steem into BTC 3 days ago. I had those bitcoin hosted in my purse.io wallet.
What happened is that the price of BTC went from around ~$11K to $18K. Making the BTC in my wallet mushroom in value. I bought my euphonium at the top and what I had left over was almost equivalent of the value of steem that I deposited! SWEET!!! I felt guilty to splurge on an expensive item like that but now I'm happy I did!

Yes but for international delivery they have a partner service called "usendhome" which creates for you a delivery address in the US. From there you can verify your order with photos, consolidate your purchase in a single box and get it shipped. Lots of savings there.

ye expedia i think too, only problem if fee increase of transaction to 100-200$ nobody will use bitcoin to buy some cheap things:) and if bitcoin will cost a lot , the more will cost transaction

Talking of luck, it hits me now that it is of two types: blind-luck and sense-luck (lol).
Blindluck = when you are just minding your other businesses only to be swept off your feet by a sudden huge surprise from nowhere.
Sense-luck(commonsense-luck) = when you have hopes of an event occuring not minding how slim the chance might actually be... and it eventually happens but far beyond your expection.

I had actually planned on ordering some Christmas present using crypto this year, but the extremely high fees on transactions kept me from doing it. I don't want to pay a $15+ fee for buying a $30 items, and fortunately I'm not going to be buying any expensive gifts this year. I think I'm better off by selling my BTC and buying gifts with fiat, so I don't have to pay a fee for each transactions.
However, I will keep the purse.io website in mind for the future, and hopefully the transaction fees will be a bit lower.

I really want to like purse, but I heard some scary stories about people buying stuff with giftcards they'd bought with stolen credit cards that kind of scared me off.
