Doing power cleans is one of the cornerstones of my strength and athletic ability. 245lb is as high as I have went since I tore my distil bicep tendon on my left arm 2 years ago. The injury was brutal and the recovery was mentally super tough for me.
My PR is 272lb or 122KG on cleans.
What I have noticed from posting stories on Instagram. Women seem to be somewhat impressed with how easy I seem to be able to throw this weight around.
I’ve been so slack with weights and yoga this summer been good with running and walking loads and slim but I really want to get some muscle back! I do notice it flares up an old shoulder injury a bit tho when I do overhead stuff

I feel you with the shoulder inflammation. I will feel my shoulders get inflamed and really have to be careful with it.

Mine was rly bad 10 years ago could hardly move it and was told I had severe ac degeneration 😱 whcih is a Weight lifting issue it says, to be fair it got way better and goes away completely but some weight stuff can trigger it off again but I know when to stop it somehow runs from my finger right up to the side of my head.
It’s prob because I am hyper mobile and don’t have same strength in my joints as I’m hardly a serious weight lifter prob also have bad technique.
