2018/11/06 八十四岁的外公| Eighty-four year old grandfather

昨天下午大姨丈很高兴地在家人群里
分享了一件令大家都十分感动的事情
八十四岁的外公自己骑着自行车
骑行了长达六公里左右的路程
去看望大姨丈的老母亲
大家都纷纷感慨于
年迈的外公开始串门了
外公像是只有四十八岁
而并不是真的八十四岁那样
有着比小伙子还健壮的体魄呢

Yesterday afternoon, Uncle was so happy
to share a very touching event.
Grandpa, eighty-four, rode his bicycle on his own.
took about six kilometers.
To visit uncle's old mother.
Everyone sighed with emotion.
My grandpa began to cross the door.
Grandpa is like only forty-eight years old.
And not really eighty-four years old.
He has a stronger physique than a young man.

这不禁令我想起了
今年八月底时
大家伙儿给外公
举行的寿宴
所有亲戚齐聚一堂
儿孙满堂 其乐融融

This reminds me that
at the end of August this year
We took a birthday banquet for Grandpa.
All the relatives gathered together.
Children and grandchildren fill the hall.
Be happy and harmonious.

我的侄子侄女们都围成了一个圈
唱着生日快乐歌，纷纷道着“生日快乐”
外公举着话筒致谢时
我看到了外公那发红的眼眶
不禁自己也泪盈满眶

My nephews and nieces all formed a circle.
Singing happy birthday songs.
Grandpa thanked the microphone.
I saw grandpa's red eyes.
I can't help myself.

我们时常都说外公是
上知天文下知地理
他总有很多很多故事讲给我们听
他讲得头头是道，我们听得津津有味
外公一生从医多年，还拥有着“医神”之称
他还有美丽的“七仙女”（我妈七姐妹）
虽然都在广东各处
但每逢哪家有大喜事
都会聚在一起
可热闹了呢

We always say grandpa is
know everything in heaven above and the earth underneath
He has many stories to tell us.
He spoke with a clear head and we listened with relish.
Grandpa has been in charge of medicine for many years and has the reputation of "medical spirit".
He also has beautiful "seven fairies" (my mother and aunts are seven sisters).
Though they are everywhere in Guangdong.
If one family has a big party.
We will gather together.
So happiness.
