A picture is worth a thousand words... so I believe this post is worth of many thousand words... these pictures were taken today when we attend the Children's New Year Music Showcase Dinner in Cambridge.
今天参加了剑桥华人孩子们新年音乐晚宴，一家四口，费用是110英镑，一共出席了60人，把整个音乐餐厅给包了下来。
音乐晚宴开始了，孩子们依次按年龄从小到大上台表演，这是表演节目列表，我家孩子第一个出场（5岁）
我孩子表演的是 My Best Friend, 视频之后传，这是之前练习的视频
媳妇和孩子，老大5岁半，老二4岁，时间过得真快
已经有两娃的媳妇美美哒~

孩子妈给孩子放上五线谱，不过孩子其实可以不用看谱的，妈妈不放心。
我儿子最小，5岁，第一个出场，不过他竟然不紧张，而且还挺兴奋，有点像我，各种显摆 :P
最大的孩子16岁，最后一个出场。
美女服务员，这个餐厅里的服务员都至少会弹一种乐器，很多人还同时会钢琴和大提琴，比如这位美女。据说帐单上会有10%的 surcharge 就会平分给这些演奏家。

孩子们有的是刚刚学习，像我儿子只学了6节钢琴课，但是上台就是成功的，这是一次很难得的锻炼机会。剑桥华人社区都很注重孩子的培养，学音乐是件很好的事情。学音乐的孩子不容易变坏嘛，至少孩子学钢琴除了能陶冶情操外，最重要的是能提高智商。
度过了一个很美好的音乐之晚，很值！
