Although the atmosphere of Easter in Taiwan is not as strong as that in the United States, due to the borderless relationship between the East and the West and the Internet, there are more Easter celebrations, and even restaurants and restaurants sell Easter snacks.

Usually, Easter is reminiscent of rabbits and eggs. This time, I made buns in the shape of "rabbits eat carrots" with the children. The method is simple for children, but it takes a little effort to roll and stretch the long noodles. While celebrating Easter, take the opportunity to train children's patience and let them know that eating delicious food, takes hard work and hard work...

Material:

250 grams of all-purpose flour, 5 ham sausages, 10 washed red beans (for decoration), 2.5 grams of yeast powder, some sugar, and about 180 ml of water (can be increased or decreased).

practice:

  1. Pour the flour into a deep basin, add yeast powder, and a little sugar (to facilitate fermentation), pour in water, and stir together.

  2. Knead the dough back and forth until the surface is smooth, cover it with a damp cloth, and ferment for about 3 hours, until it doubles in size.

  3. Put the dough on the wooden board and knead again to exhaust air, divide into 5 equal parts; cover with plastic wrap and proof again for about 30 minutes.

  4. Take a piece of dough, poke down in the middle, extend both sides, knead it into a circle shape with your hands, then pinch off the two ends and press it tightly, put it on a wooden board and knead it into a long round strip, about 37 cm.

  1. Bend the noodles symmetrically, and put the sausage on it horizontally, two noodles go through the sausage; the two pierced through, and press with chopsticks to become rabbit ears. Then press two red beans tightly on the dough as eyes.

  1. Put it in the pot to ferment for 10 minutes, steam it on high heat for about 15 minutes, and then it will come out of the pot. It looks like a rabbit eating carrots.

Small exhortation:

Red beans are for garnish, not edible.
