Steezy's Stress Relief Coloring #4 - Batman vs. Sweet Tooth

in coloring •  6 years ago  (edited)

Here is the fourth entry in my little sharing my coloring fun times when I need to relax my mind and relieve some stress. Yeah. It's another Batman-related thing. I guess you might notice a trend. I'm a Batman fan. So, I naturally gravitated to the Batman-related pages in the Art with Edge pack. This time, I did something a little different though. Yeah. I took the image of The Joker and manipulated it again into something else. However, this time the thing I've changed The Joker into is actually something of a parody of the Clown Prince of Crime. I took The Joker in this image and turned him into a character named Sweet Tooth. The character Sweet Tooth comes from an independent musical show thing from a group called StarKid Productions. They made a Batman musical that was titled Holy Musical B@man and you can actually watch it on Youtube.

I'll leave a little link here highlighting a scene with Sweet Tooth in it.

Anyways, here's the image. The quote is taken from the final confrontation between Batman and Sweet Tooth in the musical.

(Side note: I kind of wish I had two copies of this image. The art style The Joker is drawn in looks like it could've lent itself to becoming Count Olaf from Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events and I think Batman fighting Count Olaf would've been a funny image too.)

This page comes from the "Art with Edge" series of Crayola coloring pages. It's from a pack that's specifically filled with DC Comics Super Villains. I got them from Wal-Mart too. The pages look like they've been drawn by actual comic book artists. It doesn't specify who the artists might be. I wish I knew, so I could properly give some kind of credit to them. It simply just says it's from DC Comics and Crayola.

I hope you enjoy this new little series of posts. Thank you for letting me share these with you. :D

That's a cool way of making the coloring your own! Besides Olaf (a fun idea), I think a manic Doc Brown from BttF would be fun to see as well.

Batman speech bubble, read by Kevin Conroy, "Your reign of time-crime is over." ;D
