Arsenic Lullaby - Stan Lee, Venom, and some archived illustrations

In honor of Avengers #endgame coming out next weekend, I thought I'd show you this recent commission/tribute to/of Stan Lee.

What? I see plenty of people just posting one single picture, adding a sentence or two and calling that a post. Why can't I? I've spoiled you all. What do you want for me? eh? blood? tears?

...I actually wanted to put up some progress shots but I can't find any. I'm sure I took some...but hell if I know where they are. And I looked.

I looked all over, through a bunch of different files. Couldn't find any.
Found a bunch of other stuff...

You know, now that I think about it, they never sent me a copy of this issue...f*cking publishers.

I found this rough sketch of a page I was working on for Gen Zero published by Valiant comics...which ended up never getting published. I should someday show you all the pages. It would have been great , but things didn't quit turn out for it getting finished.

I found this black and white pic of a cover I did for Valiant that DID get published.

I even found a pic of a Hellboy sketch I did...I think I did this...I sorta remember drawing it.

But no progress shots of this Stan Lee commission.

...well...what can you do?

Your posts are always SO good @arseniclullaby and you do spoil us. I KNOW what you mean about some posts. I see a photo with two words and it's earning more steem than I'll earn in the week, oh well, what can one do?

I've been so busy that I've had to be happy just sharing a sketch in progress as my post, as I'm still determined to give at least a few moments of my morning over to steemit in some ways, but my commenting as been falling behind because of the busyness of my schedule.

Amazing Stan Lee tribute. I love your style it has such happy rounded edges, an ease to the eyes. Wonderful as always.

Thanks!!! I should probably start doing short ones, or one long one once a week because I'm gonna start getting busy AF myself. and as much as we like it here, we gotta spend our time wisely right?

Really cool illustration again. Stop keeping those progress shots to yourself...I'm getting rehab symptoms now I need that fix. The sketches don't stop the shivers aarrgh...
