Saturday morning it was 18F and far too cold to be working with shingles. So he made the milk run. But by mid morning when he got done it was still too cold.
So he cut some tiny caps to cover the ends of the top singles and managed to get them on. Hopefully they will stop leaks until it warms enough to finish the capping. There’s hope maybe next week (in 9 days) it will be warm enough, without rain, to finish. There’s also a broken shingle at the bottom that needs repaired, and its patch is waiting there.
