What Is It?

The Challenge is to complete 100 Situps, in order to build strength and stamina in the core. But how you do this, depends on your abilities:

  • Beginners: Accumulate 100 Situps throughout the week before the contest deadline

  • Intermediate: Accumulate 100 Situps every other day, for a total of 350 Situps for the week (you can start late, but realize you have to complete 350 before the deadline)

  • Advanced: Accumulate 100 Situps a day, for a total of 700 Situps throughout the course of the week (you can start late, but realize you have to accumulate 700 before the deadline)


A Situp?

Nothing too technical here, we call this a Hands-To-Laces Sit-up:

  • Lie face-up on the ground, arms overhead
  • Reach your arms toward your feet as you Situp
  • Attempt to touch your shoelaces, if possible
  • At the top of the Situp, your shoulders should be stacked over your hips
  • Lie back down, pulling the belly button toward the spine as you return to the start with control

The Challenge

Here's what you've been waiting for! I'm challenging our Steemit Community to complete the 100 Situp Challenge for the benefit of strengthening your core. As if that's not incentive enough, I'll award a random Challenger, who completed their challenge level, 50% of the SBD from that post once it is paid out. To enter:

  • COMPLETE the 100 Situp Challenge!
  • COMMENT on the original post that you completed it before the deadline of 5:00PM CST
  • UPVOTE the original post to increase the reward pool
  • RE-STEEM the original post to increase visibility of and participation in this Challenge


    After payout, I will randomly select the winning comment from a Challenger who completed their challenge and transfer 50% of the SBD from that post to their wallet.

Last day. Woohoo! The third and fourth days, I was so sore it took almost a full minute for me to stretch my stomach completely! I thought I'd never be able to sit up without assistance ever again. LOL! But it's almost back to normal now. ;)

I know right! I was the same way on days 3&4. The last day was harder for me mentally (I think I was distracted), but not nearly as sore and recovered quicker! Glad it was a good challenge for ya 😉

Aw man... I totally would have been in this if I had known! Great idea though!
