Hidden Contests and the start of the Small Fish Games! - All are welcome to join!

Very cool story behind your name! It suits you ;p
I like the idea of a name to fit everything, now I try to use this username for everything. Apparently not everyone can pronounce it though, lots of people see e-coin and stumble from there.

I believe that the original definitions were done in vests, so it might hace shifted the sp amounts, but redfish are users from 50-499 sp. When you get that slider you become a minnow! Then I think its pretty straightforward, dolphin at 5000+, orca at 50,000+ and whale at 500,000+.

I like the ventures, is A'mara books your publishing company?

Eco-instant makes more sense to me... Is that how you pronounce it?
Oh, okay - so redfish before minnow. Okay. Most people seem to just skip the redfish part.
I tend to see Ventures as the over-company...
A'mara Books handles the fiction (though there will be some things that don't fit into the A'mara category, and I'm not sure where those will go yet...)
Aileron Books (not yet published) will handle non-fiction. I have several project in mind there.
But at the end of the day, it's all me.

That is so cool! I actually have a legal conglomerate forming as well, isn't it great to be independent?! I love your ideas and confidence :)

I think they do skip redfish since minnow seems pretty small, plankton comes before redfish ;p

And you have the pronunciation right!

What are your plans for today sunday my viking friend?

We go to church in an hour. Then, I force myself not to write on my main projects on Sunday. I'm allowed to read (my own or other works) and sort of allowed to work on something unrelated to current projects if I feel inspired. Or writing that I have no real expectations of publishing. I do this to force myself to relax a little and give my brain a break. After all, I wrote 19,000 words this week!

Sure, it's great to be independent, but for someone like me who is terrible at marketing and has no honorary agent (as much as my husband is a great #1 fan, he's no better in this area either), it doesn't add towards paying bills - like it would be nice to do some day... But hey, I can write and I no longer have to worry about it making very much money, so I can enjoy myself and create a world mythology all its own. (Maybe I need to immerse myself in some more Joseph Campbell today "The Power of Myth" - it was a major source of inspiration for George Lucas, after all.)

Better finish getting myself ready to go...

The Hero with 1000 Faces! I really love that stuff, I am very interested in philosophy and sociology, how we tell each other what is important...

Very cool, I have a pdf version of Hero with 1000 faces, have you read that one?

I haven't yet. I think I had a copy a few moves ago and haven't found it again. "The Power of Myth" I picked up at this year's library sale. I've already incorporated some that I've learned from it into my writing.

Hey Viking have you done a contest of your own yet since you have been on steem? What are the favorite contests that you have participated in?

I hosted a limerick contest back in March - had a whole one entry... I might do something shortly as I'm about to hit 1000 followers, but no idea what I want to do for it.

PIFC is my main contest. @vdux has a fun haiku contest, but I haven't done it for a few weeks now. @kaliju was doing a freewrite fridays contest which was fun, but I missed #3 and I haven't seen him do another yet. @insideoutlet does a "guess image" contest every week. I've won that one a couple of times.

There was a young viking on steem
Who hosted a contest of memes
A young man called Rick
turned in a limerick
'You win!' was all she could scream.
