Homemade dishes can be fun and amazing due to the satisfaction that comes from eating it.
Today, I decided to prepare a simple vegetable sauce that we use locally in the West African community in eating boiled yam or plantain. You may choose to roast the yam or plantain too.
Ingredients
Scent leaf
3 Bulbs of Onions ( I eat a lot of Onions 😂)
Pumpkin leaf
Two spoons of salt
20cl of Palm Oil
One cube of sweetening spicy.
Pepper.
Direction
- Add 20cl of palm oil to an empty pot.
- Put the pot on a cooker and leave it for 3mins.
- Add your onions to the steaming palm oil and steer for 1minute.
- Add your sliced scent leaf to the pot and steer for two minutes.
- Add dried pepper and steer.
- Add 1cube of crushed sweetener and steer the pot.
- Add your sliced pumpkin leaves and steer for a minute.
- Leave the whole set up to Steemit for 3minutes.
- Remove from heat source and get ready to munch. 😂
Apart from the time spent in slicing the vegetable leaves, the preparation takes less than 20mins. I decided to eat my unripe plantain with the vegetable sauce. You can see the finished product combo below.
