Day 17 - 1 million deaths this month at current rate

in coronavirus •  5 years ago

If we don't alter from this exponential growth rate of infections and deaths, about 1 million people will die during the month of April.

Another issue I discuss here is the effective cashless economy that has been brought in along with the other societal changes. Then there's the ban on human contact (except your immediate family), and what amounts to a curfew from 8pm to 7am every night. Months of isolation is going to be too long for many people! A cheap home antibody test is needed, so people can know if they're immune/contagious or not!

That chart looks like the climb up on a roller coaster before the drop :O

Hopefully the strict isolation around the planet has the effect intended, and the deaths don't climb quite that high, that quickly.
