I want to discuss the impact that crypto might have on the gaming industry in the coming years, and how further integration with gambling could create an incredibly successful and lucrative industry for professional gamers and entrepreneurs.

Your content is very much on my wavelength. I'm creating a decentralized lottery right now for the Steem blockchain and I plan on creating proof-of-brain games that produce digital assets worth money.

I would go even further and think about the solutions to addiction it could have as smart contracts could be setup to avoid these issues or put limits on those that have behavior that is not normal. Two trends will continue to grow and benefit from blockchain and cryptocurrencies: eSports and streaming. These industries and concepts are completely complementary so there is plenty of opportunities to see going forward.

luckily, by eliminating the middle man, addiction won't cripple the finances of addicted players. In fact, I think a lot of these addicted players will actually be able to make money on average because the platforms created will be owned by the players, not a centralized company.

At 9:00 you talk about when gaming will be viewed as, "The cool thing to do." This has already been the case in South Korea for a very long time. If you are good at Starcraft in South Korea you are a rockstar. They've also embraced MOBAS like League of Legends.
South Korea is already way ahead of the curve when it comes to this aspect. They are going to be raking in the money. They are obviously also super into crypto as well, and even steem has a healthy 'kr' community.

Totally agree with you Louis. Personally I'm a poker player and I see crypto making waves in this industry to, as it actually makes perfect economical sense. The majority of poker players on traditional fiat platforms aren't able to make money due to the high rake on these sites, due to the centralised nature of the company taking a big cut. Blockchain technology will literally put the money back into the users of the site and people can be confident that if they are better than the average player they are up against, they will make money in the long run. #Gamechanger

You're right. Gambling and gaming will be at the forefront of legal money transactions using cryptocurrencies. Porn will probably be among the top five as well.
