The HashPuppies (RHT) token airdrop to NEO addresses has been completed! HashPuppies is a collectible game like CryptoKitties, except with puppies and on the NEO blockchain. Generation-0 HashPuppies have been airdropped to the wallets of NEO tokenholders. Did you get one too? Read on to find out how you can discover if you did!
HASHPUPPIES
HashPuppies is a project on NEO much like CryptoKitties is on Ethereum. After the massive success and subsequent clogging of the Ethereum network, HashPuppies is an attempt to show how much better NEO is able to handle such a game as opposed to Ethereum.
You can have a look at the project's website and roadmap here. The mainnet is set to release in late April, with the testnet going live sometime in March.
GENERATION 0
Beyond popularity, you may also have heard that Ethereum's CryptoKitties have been fetching a good amount of money, as the Kitties are essentially tokens which can be traded. Especially the so-called Generation-0 CryptoKitties are worth a lot of money, with the most expensive one going for about 250 ETH, or $113.000 USD at the time it was sold.
HASHPUPPY AIRDROP
In advance to the launch of HashPuppies the developers of the upcoming game have decided to airdrop all the Generation-0 HashPuppies to current NEO holders. On January 1st the airdrop was concluded and everybody who had some NEO (but less than 100 NEO) in their account will have gotten one RHT token which will be redeemable for a Generation-0 HashPuppy.

So if you had a few NEO on your address, but less than 100, you may have a Gen-0 Hashpuppy too!
It will not show up in wallets yet as the token is unsupported, and most blockchain explorers for the NEO blockchain aren't updated yet either. However, like the twitter message states, it is possible to see if you've gotten the airdrop by using the blockchain explorer of https://neotracker.io/, which is the only blockchain explorer which is up to date for the RHT token.
Simply open https://neotracker.io/ and enter your NEO address to look it up on the blockchain. It will open up a new screen with some tabs, and if you click the 'Transfers' tab you will/may see that one RHT token has recently been transferred to your account!
As you can see, I've received 1 RHT token. Presumably we will soon be able to track and access the RHT token from our wallets and other explorers too.
I'll probably try the game out for a bit once it's released, as I never played CryptoKitties (seemed like a waste of money!) but still was interested in knowing more. After that, I'll probably try to sell my HashPuppy once it is possible. I doubt they will be worth as much as some CryptoKitties, but perhaps I will still be able to make a little money off of it when the time comes.

very interesting. I don't know much about cryptokitties but its cool that Neo is creating their own version to compete. I wonder if that is why Neo has been doing so well these past few days?

I don't think HashPuppies is generating a lot of excitement (yet?) since Tron is also doing TronDogs and probably a bunch of other projects too. I think the growth in NEO is more organic and/or because all alts are pumping and NEO just didn't really get it's turn yet.
NEO and OMG are my main and favorite coins, so yes I do like to keep up to date on them! Glad you're enjoying the content!

Should be as soon as they hit the mainnet in April! But possibly you can 'test' buying and trading them on the testnet earlier, although that won't do you much good other than testing :)
Hopefully by the time HashPuppies gets released, the cryptohype isn't over yet!!

This is going to be one of the first times that NEO will be able to show off how much better it is than Ethereum.NEO should be able to handle the transactions this will create without any of the problems that Ethereum had with cryptokitties.
