Currently, there are not too many options for purchasing crypto through fiat which is a key issue

yes it is very much an issue to buy or sell for fiat. the banks will keep it that way we just need another company or 2 like coinbase so they can't take control

That will probably happen sooner than later. Blockport and probably Cobinhood might start doing so. In India, as I mentioned here, we can either use CEX or Koinex (that support multiple cryptos)
