Everyday is April Fool's when it comes to the mainstream media and cryptocurrency. They love to pass their skewed views to assist in the FUD parade that we know is so common.
We all know that Bitcoin (and other cryptocurrencies) are only used for illegal activities. For example, all drug dealers happily accept Bitcoin, Ethereum, and STEEM as payment.
Well maybe not.
But you know what they all take?
Even if cryptocurrency isn't used for drugs, certainly it is the go-to for money launderers. After all, cryptocurrency users do not want to pay taxes.
Then there is this.

I wonder what currency the banks were using to launder all that money. Could they be using Bitcoin or some other cryptocurrency?
That would be ironic since they are busy trying to set up a centralized blockchain system that they can control. I guess we know why.
For the moment, we will have to presume they are using some type of fiat currency to move all that money around while hiding it from the taxing authorities.
How often do they talk about this on CNBC?
For the mainstream, when it comes to cryptocurrency, everyday is April Fool's Day.
For the rest of us, it only comes around once a year.
Happy April Fool's Day everyone.

I fully agree with this. I read a article in the Netherlands, saying that Bitcoin had grown to be 10% of total money laundry. "This proved that Bitcoin is only used for criminals". All I thought was how about focusing on the other 90%, Fiat money...
