Hello Content Creators of Steemit!
My name is @Ma1neEvent, (pronounced Maine-Event) and I am an active curator on Steemit.
Currently, I curate for at least two active curator groups, @OCD and @Muxxybot.
I also try to support the members of both @minnowsupport and @thealliance, among others.
I look for under-valued content that may be going unnoticed
on the Steemit platform.
I try to focus my searches for newer members, those under 60 rep, and anyone under 5k in Steem Power. By Under-valued, I mean posts that have not reached at least $10 in reward values after at least 4 hours after posting. These posts MUST be all original work, no copy-pasta or plagiarism, and post images and content will be verified via google search.
I do of course follow and vote some blogs that are Steemit members that do not meet this criteria, however, for the purpose of this post I want to focus on the "Minnows" and newer Steemit Users.

Hello. I am @mariannewest and recently started a community building and writing challenge called the 5 minute freewrite. I post a new prompt every day and encourage people to be more active on Steemit and to become better writers. I think @Melinda0101001 also entered one of her prompt freewrites.
I am entering my post here because I want to share my payout with the freewriters and for the most part - that payout is very low.
Besides the freewriting prompts, I post about gardening, permaculture, community, podcasting, health, dogs and chickens, and all things related to Sustainability. And sometimes, I share things which made me laugh.

Hi, I'm @snowpea. I am a stay at home mom with 5 kids aged 2,4,6,8, and 10. I have quite the story, if you read my post "wedding day" or my #gratefulvibes post you'll learn more about me. I write about life, opinion, one article about mbti and a couple articles about gangstalking, an article of advice for new fishies, random things really. I am an mbti (Myers Briggs Personality Type Indicator) enthusiast, and would like to write more about that subject in the future. I'd like to be greedy and flop my own blog on here, but being a curator myself ( @enginewitty ), I see many undervalued posts. I would like second looks at a few of our allies' posts. Namely, @ninahaskin and @nichi. Nina is a boisterous photographer with some great descriptions and Nichi is a wonderful artist. Another that deserves more attention is @armshippie. Hi. I'm @jmromero and I write short stories and poems. Although I write them mostly in spanish, I'm doing so because when I post them in english (well translated, of course, not just Google-Translator-copy-paste) they don't receive any kind of attention. But right now I decided to keep posting my stories both in spanish and english even if they don't get noticed. I'm starting with that idea.
So the post I'm bringing is a short love letter called "Without a doubt there is something in you" that basically touches the way we often fall in love not knowing why, just feeling it, and how that unexpected love sometimes goes unnoticed or we don't have the courage to talk about it.

I consider this post of mine to be undervalued when compared to similar work here on steemit.
If i were to justify why i would deserve to be curated, I would point to my efforts to support other artists. While I do not post much more than twice a week, I am on here every day (unless I'm traveling or something) upvoting and providing meaningful comme 5s to others posts. I try really hard to stay under 100% in voting power because I want to use it to support my communities. I write a few different kinds of poetry, but I am a spoken word and haiku enthusiast. I do not usually have the SBD available to invest in upvote bots. I also host a weekly haiku contest in case anybody is interested.

Years ago I belonged to a writers' club and used to do a lot of those exercises, but it was more writing exactly what popped into our heads with no mind to grammar or continuation of thought. In fact we were told not to think at all. Lol! Sometimes it was just words strung together. It was meant only as an exercise. Then later on we would go back to those random ramblings and pick out things that could be written about. I actually wrote a novella in the end! I need to go back to it, as I know I need to make changes before doing anything with it!!

That is the idea behind the freewrite - but a lot of the "freewriters" are very new to this concept and not quite ready to let it fly. The ones with some writing background are freestyling. To me, it is most important that people enjoy themselves. For some, the complete free freewrite is still a bit too much - but hey, who knows, maybe in a few month, that has changed. If you look at @improv for example - freewriting it is. Glad you joined us.

I would love to have some more exposure forthis post. I am a professional photographer aiming to give easy to understand non-techical help to beginning and amateur photographers. This is my 5th lesson in #photography101. My aim is to help photographers have a little more understanding of composition and light etc. so that they can take better pictures. It's not necessary to have professional equipment to take beautiful pictures, so my lessons do not focus on using professional cameras and lenses.

Hi @ma1neevent ! First of all a big thank you to the OCD team ..my first welcome to this steemit journey was given by you guys, through the ocd-resteem, and it encouraged me to keep posting. What you do is simply great. I am a passionate defender of human rights and love to understand today's society and its developments. Recently I'm indulgeing in a daily freewrite exercise, I will do this for some time, although my future plan is to write a long novel in episodes. In my freewrite I post only original contents: my shots are carefully taken (some of them are found in Eyeem and Getty), my texts are poetry in which I strive to adopt an original perspective and put my soul. I feel, in all honesty, that I am a bit undervalued. Maybe that's why I'm keeping freewriteing instead of going back to deeper articles. Hello and good day. I am alfred and I am just really new here. I posted three posts and resteemed some of my daughter's work. I like steemit as a social platform a lot when my daughter introduced me to it. It took me few weeks before I decided to make an introduction of myself.
Out of the three, this is one of my under valued post I think. I do not complain but I just find it odd that some had been upvoting my post without even reading it as the number of votes is not equal with the number of views.
I am very passionate in sharing educational posts, history, leadership and motivation, techniques and a lt more. In the future and I hope I could gain support here and grow. With that, I also aim to help others while growing too and even I achieve that level. I really wanted a domino effect to occur.

Hello thank your for helping new steemians. Been a month already and I feel under valued, I don’t even get 1$ Almost all of my post. I take effort writing them, I am trying to make good captions on my own photos but few appreciates. I was doubting few weeks ago if I will still continue this but someone motivates me to keep going. I am a photographer who loves to take photos and travel to new places. Whenever I go somewhere new I try to write a blog about it and post it so that more people can learn about it and hopefully visit! I post these about both South Korea and New Zealand. Recently I have also been trying to contribute to Steemitworldmap so that people can easily browse and find information on places they might want to visit.
