Day 9 - Say Hello and Talk to a Stranger!

If you ride the subway or train to work, this is a great opportunity to get out of your comfort zone and spark a conversation with someone around you! Or, if you eat out for lunch today, find someone to talk to! We live in a world today where everyone is stuck in their own little bubble of comfort. Let's break out of this bubble and get to know people starting today! You never know, you just might start a long lasting friendship or relationship!

I love this idea, human interaction is a big part of our lives and with the advent of smartphones we have become so self absorbed and forgot how to communicate in real life.

Another thing I have done in the past is purchase small little chocolate bars or candies and taped a quick note on them saying "have a great day" or something like that. Was a great feeling seeing someone smile because of a random stranger

@jasonshick You're exactly right about us becoming so self absorbed. It's easier to have a relationship over text and phone calls than it is face to face. If we all did little acts of kindness, similar to what you've been doing, that alone would make this world a better place!

Yeah, it is amazing how antisocial we have become with these devices that allow us to stay more connected than ever. We collectively need to help change this

I love this idea too and it's overdue! Lol
I am doing my best to use less and share more in the last two years and it is amazing the untold dividends it brings to life.
