here's the deal.
you can ignore your civic duty...
not keep yourself informed on the issues.
not even be aware of what your political representative take on those issues are.
not even know who those representatives ARE.
not vote anyway..cause they are all the same.
then complain because the whole thing is a mess.

someone OUGHT TO MAKE a law

and the politician grins and does exactly that.

Your statement presupposes that I've done (or not done) those things you list.

Oddly enough, you're wrong on each point.

The politicians and the ruling class do whatever they want, and they'll make the elections come out just the way they want.

Then they'll use the media to convince the dumb-masses that everything is just peachy.

Oddly enough my presumption was based on your statement.
I don't think it matters which actor clown the real power puts up for the masses to argue over.
if you feel that way why would you bother your self to get involved.
after all...it doesn't matter anyway?

The politicians and the ruling class do whatever they want, and they'll make the elections come out just the way they want.

and yet...Trump was elected.

erm...

  • The magician made a gesture and banished hunger.
  • Made another gesture and poverty disappeared.
  • He made another gesture and dissolved injustice.
  • Made a hands wiggle and put an end to the wars.
  • He turned his hands and established happiness.
  • "The politician made a gesture and vanished the magician"
