Thanks for sharing Treaphort. I have, at times, noticed myself admiring your collected persona. Knowing now your studies around Stoicism brings some light to that picture. You mentioned there are some things you don't see eye to eye with around the Stoic philosophy. Can you give me an example?

For sure! A fairly new endeavor of mine, but I do appreciate the philosophy. .

Hmm. . an example may be how they postulate about "indifference" or "wish-not-want-not" type of attitude. While I do recognize the benefit of taking the middle road I am also very much about the enjoyment and passions life has to offer.

Desire, enjoyment, passion, wants, excitement and such are all amazing feelings and can help us to have more fun in this life. . I personally am not trying to desire less or not get as excited as I would like to be, especially in an effort to not allow my Self to be let down in any way.

I am more aligned with a philosophy of "experience everything to the fullest, and let it all go constantly; living true to Heart to build and manifest the world around". . .

That being said, I have loved reading and exploring Stoicism and am enjoying the types of thoughts and ideas it is bringing forth in me. And it has been helping me to explore more of where and how I have been putting my energies.

Love you @logan-gray-ic!!! happy to see you on here :-)
