Anti-inflammatory diet and curcumin for high cholesterol and diabetes

in diet •  7 years ago

It is a common thought that high LDL (bad) cholesterol is caused by dietary cholesterol intake but the majority of cholesterol in made by the liver in response to inflammation and blood vessel damage. Cholesterol is actually a healing substance but a large amount can indicate a chronic inflammatory condition that can put you at risk for heart attack or stoke. A new study shows how a powerful natural anti-inflammatory agent curcumin can lower LDL while increasing HDL. Message me below if you would like to see how you can treat cholesterol issues naturally.

A little story as a side note...and this is no way medical advise nor would I ever want anyone not to take a drug prescribe to them. My sister last month came to me and said her cholesterol was dangerously high and her Dr ordered her a statin to prevent stroke. I told her to go ahead and take the statin but add in curcumin and cut out dairy, wheat, sugar and foods with any artificial ingredients. I told her to get her VLDL and vit d level tested. In the 6 days between her changing her diet and her VDLD test her cholesterol went in to normal range and VLDL was 12. Her Dr said the medication is already working great and she said "I never took it... I just changed my diet.
