Getting up close to a Giraffe.
The beauty of visiting a Game Reserve like Dikhololo in South Africa, is that there are none of the Big 5 - so you can walk around. We went on early morning 2 hour game walks on our own and were rewarded with some wonderful sights.
Guided walks are also offered by the Reserve staff.
We saw large numbers of Blessbok.
There is no hunting on this reserve, so the wildlife are not so scared and if you are quiet, you can get close to the animals.

This is a great experience to share with your children.
