I just used 4 minutes of my time exactly to read the Minds’ whitepaper. They do nothing to solve the flaws of a reward system that plagues Steem. And a phone number verifies nothing because these can be obtained for free in bulk.

I prefer Steemit over Gab and Minds at the moment. Yeah, you can always find ways to make fake accounts. People always figure these things out. I've almost completely switched to Minds. As far as I'm concerned Steem is dead, eaten from inside by greed. Their whole virtual economy system is utterly inappropriate for any kind of long-term sustainability. Unless something radically changes (and i mean RADICALLY) Steemit is a rotting corpse crawling with bots and ruled by a small clique of unscrupulous robber barons.
