When asked about his intentions to go back to Korea, Terraform Labs CEO Kwon Do-hyung responded, "It is difficult to make such a judgment because I have never had contact with investigators," in an interview with cryptocurrency media source Coinage on the 15th (local time). Dohyeong Kwon, CEO of Terraform Labs, has never gotten in touch with the Korean investigative authorities. Terraform Labs released the stablecoin TerraUSD and the sister coin Luna, which led to confusion in the market for virtual assets (cryptocurrencies) because of the "collapse." He claimed that he had not made up his mind about going back home.

It is difficult to make such a judgment because I have never contacted investigators, CEO Kwon stated in an interview with Coinage, a cryptocurrency media outlet, according to Bloomberg News on the 15th (local time). He declared, "I didn't accuse him of anything.

When the time comes, we intend to work with the authorities in charge of the investigation, Kwon added. He said, "Life is long," in response to the question, "Isn't there a potential of going to jail?" CEO Kwon's Terraform Labs office in Singapore hosted the interview.

In order to look into the Terra USD and Luna meltdown last month, prosecutors confiscated and searched seven virtual asset exchanges, Terraform Labs-affiliated organizations, and the houses of linked individuals. The prosecution claims that through the search and seizure, it was able to obtain information about the CEO Kwon and Chairman Shin's transactions, the creation of the algorithm stable coin, and information about the movement of money.

In 2018, CEO Kwon founded Terraform Labs. By managing the issuance of Luna, TerraUSD aims to preserve the value of one dollar per unit. Early in April, the market capitalization of Luna was $41 billion (or 53.7 trillion won), but in May, this value fell by more than 99%, resulting in significant losses for investors all around the world. Such unfavorable news caused the cryptocurrency market to fall drastically at the moment.
