The automated post has been going for several months averaging around 9 cents a day. With an automated upvote to pay for server time on the curation trail it works out to about $12 a month... Yay $5 profit. Tombstone blows the entirety of my little "circle-jerk" out of the water and I don't know why he is choosing to vote that content. Must be proof of brain. There has been a longstanding rule of thumb that one can vote on their own content once a day... I don't even do that. I can also lower the 25% auto vote to maintain just server costs... I guess profit isn't something we're concerned about here. Back to steemchiller it seems he needs to pay to put food on the table for his family, so his work here will always yield him less influence than powering up steem like you've been able to do. Stake in the network can only be purchased by investors and not earned by the determined... plutocracy, rent seeking. Which for me was $3,300 split two ways. My software has landed me consulting a top ten university and the IEEE for autonomous systems. Yet the entire "proof of stake" system here has been more concerned with straight up illegal(in the US) exchanges like steem-engine.
After you build this software will you submit more proposals for 66SBD a day or more? I have a solid feeling you will, so the length of time doesn't make a difference as you will continue to milk the SPS to increase your stake here. If steemchiller was funded I doubt he'd submit more proposals or try to increase the funding if the price of steem goes up. Right now 66SBD is pretty close to .4% of the overall inflation here. If the price goes to $1 it's much less... you'll be poised to continue to raise your "value" for further proposals.
The salt is relevant. Look around at the negative points of steem. It's an "exit scam" and something only well to do people can profit from. @blocktrades was paid a significant amount of money to build the SPS and there wasn't even a bid process for the work. Is it any wonder that they have one of the most powerful votes in the system they designed? Also you seem to be able to move a much smaller "community" of voters that are worth significantly more stake. You run the 23rd ranked witness and likely cycle in to the top 20. I've moved more voters on to my proposal than you have to yours... but with only 1/8th the SP. I don't have friends in "high" places as you've seemed to managed, then actively discourage smaller accounts from building here. Where as an distributed account creation network and multisignature fund ran by ad-hoc parties removes business from blocktrades and steem-engine.
It's all opensource. It's never been paid for. It hasn't gotten any acknowledgement "here". You're riding a mighty high horse. "Get bent" is a dismissive meaning these things aren't even in the same category of abuse. If the community wanted this proposal they would back you... Unfortunately I see significant stake holders wanted to increase their access to the reward pool by cutting down the smaller folk. I was excited about HF21, but the price keeps falling and the larger accounts have just gotten more righteous indignation down voting content making as little as 6 cents.
