Why then do we dream?

"You will not be poor because you do not have a penny, a University degree or a job, but you may be poor without a dream."

Someone once asked me why do we dream when no matter how hard some of us dream, it doesn't ever come to pass? Well, I believe that, because we say we are all dreamers doesn't mean we truly are. If it doesn't work, then something is not being done like it should. Don't go out telling people you dream, go show the world your dream.

For the past couple of days, I have been hitting much on dreams, dreaming and what we may become when we dream dreams. Looking around the society where I find myself, has proved to me that, there is so much we can do to achieve potential, but find little or no strength to do so. There are endless possibilities in that space called "the dreamland."

I often hear people complain about being broke or poor because they don't have a job, or didn't get anyone to take them to school bla bla bla. Going to school and or having a job is secondary in the state of things that needs to get one to that pedestal of greatness or winning.

You cannot be guaranteed a job or pocket full of money because you are educated, but I can guarantee you a sea of wealth if you are a dreamer who cares long enough to believe in the power of their dreams. A dreamer that sees no impossibilities and definitely not a dreamer who sleeps to have his dream, but one that dreams openly despite the place, time and situation is one who will win.

Dreamers are the builders of the world. They hold in their little fingers more treads that can mend garments a mile long than a non-dreamer in his whole body. Dreamers are those who think the impossible and are always one step ahead of themselves to make available stuffs that will help make the world a better place.

When next you are broke or you come across someone who cries they are poor, ask if they dream, because a dreamer cannot be poor. A dreamer is not one who sleeps at night, but one who will always find something to do because, whenever he is faced with the harsh reality of his state of impossibilities or hardship, all he needs to keep going on is just one more dream.

If you are asleep, wake up and if the only time you dream is when you sleep, stay awake. You can dream with your eyes wide open and even walk into someone else's dream.

SPOILER ALERT:- Not all dreams come through and not all who dream are dreamers. Dreams are mostly unclear and sometimes really impossible to piece together. Dreams do come through but not for all. So, if your plan is to quite your day job to "dream", dream wisely.
