My new DSound series started. I will read 10 minutes from the books that I read to practice my English pronunciation (I am a German living in Germany), to educate myself, to educate you guys & to make money doing what I do when I don't work.

(Click on the first picture above aka the thumbnail to listen to the audio track)

I have decided to read "Men at War" by Ernest Hemingway.

I hope to learn from the wisdom of the soldiers in these war stories as I will probably never have to kill someone in my entire life.

If you are a veteran and like to add your knowledge, experience and wisdom to this series then I gladly welcome you!

In this first part, I will read some parts of the introduction by Hemingway. This book is over 1000 pages strong and the font is small as fuck. This ain't a book, it is a tome.

Captain Phil! I totally LOVE this! It allows us to listen to some good books WITHOUT any "F"-Bombs. Here's an idea to enhance the experience. How about spending 10 minutes per day (BEFORE your book reading) working on the English pronunciation drill videos on the "Espresso English" YouTube channel :

Then you can go back and listen to each of your readings and see how your pronunciation has improved over time. Trust me, I have experience as an English teacher, and so I know this is effective...

Not a bad idea.

Yeah, making long-term improvements in accent is just like weight-training. You need to hit those language muscles on a consistent daily basis to see improvement. If you need any additional advice just let me know. I have ADVANCED knowledge of linguistics and am happy to help. I think this new project will also give ANOTHER productive project to work on to deal with the main "living issue" you are dealing with. Plus, you can also perform these tasks in your tent in the forest - likely the BEST place to practice...

Getting some extra cash while you enjoy reading a great book and practice your English. Joy + Education + Joy damn that's a great idea! GENIUS!

Joy + Education + Cash = recipe for a good mood.

I do hope you are finding the english language learning easy
