I don't think there is much here to be honest, and I am glad you even called that out. Had he not made such a grand stand about the whole NFL protest thing we wouldn't even be talking about this, but HE DID, so now we should be able to scrutinize anything he does with the anthem.
Kneeling and singing the anthem correctly, or standing and singing the wrong word to the anthem. Which is worse? It is really hard for me to say, because I personally don't see either as disrespectful but I'd imagine the latter if I did.
