A new dark age an interesting term. Your thinking has reached things that others may not have thought of. Are we going to experience A New Dark Age ?. It is quite possible, with such chaotic conditions, the political unaccountability that causes economic unfairness in countries. Let's save the earth to not get to the condition of A new dark age.

Calling it a dark age is a bit of a stretch, but I do agree that society will change dramatically thanks to technology, population, and our fast paced culture. Just not in a way where information suddenly becomes exclusive to only a select few groups. There aren't many who seek out in-depth knowledge but that has always been the case and that knowledge will always be available somewhere on the internet or elsewhere unless something catastrophic happens.
