What's up dtube, my name is Harshil Patel and Today I want to share some of the lessons learned From Creating Daily Videos

This 3 part series was originally created 6 months ago when I started my content creating journey. This was WAYYY before I found steemit.

That's the first lesson... Do content creating with zero hopes of making money. LOL that way you don't get jealous or blame others for your situation.

Second Lesson: Find the best way to motivate yourself to make videos

For me, it was giving my friend a 1000 dollar check and told her if I skip a day for the next 4 months, she can keep the money.

11 months in, I have that money back and I just create content because it's a habit.

Second lesson: Be Ok with Creating Videos when No One Is going to watch you.

It's funny. When people start youtube or facebook pages. I'm always curious to see how they handle with the reality that you'll only be getting 10 to 100 views a video. It's important to just keep creating even though know one is watching.

Third Lesson: Have Fun.

Simple.

Final thoughts: Grateful :)

being ok to make videos even if no one is watching is a massive hurdle we all have to cross. it can be hard but solid advice!

Yes! The thing is that when no one is watching or you get low views, it's not because your stuff sucks. It just means you haven't built the distribution channels for the world to know you exist yet. The best way to grow that is building relationships :)

I 100% agree with you there. Building meaningful relationships will help get your content loved and shared but not just shared but have people vouch for your content meaning they will push your content. Keep doing what you're doing Harshilpatel I might not always be in the forefront but i am always lurking ;)

Yeah man.. I just got of the phone with Winny today, I we just kept talking about how building those relationships is key to building anything meaningful.

and likewise my man. I'm a big fan of what you're doing over at your blog.

I'm just keeping it real and documenting real life hahha. Yes I agree. We still need to connect buddy. I had a call with Kent today and we also talked about how we have connected so well online and the relationship we have built.

Yes we do man. I'm messaging you on discord now. let's set up something

Good advice! My problem is trying to find good content. Not everyday is interesting..

Yeah, I agree. the key is being consistent. so make 3 videos a week. or even 1. doesn't matter as long as you do it consistently

I'm pretty new to Steemit and am learning the ropes. I like this platform because people don't just like a video, they are investing into you! It's easy on other platforms to give a thumbs up. Here the system is different and I'm still learning but I'm having fun and meeting different people online. Good luck with your channel!
