Extracurricular activities after school are beneficial. In addition to adding insight and sharpening interests and talents, these activities can help him expand friendships with new people. D. Sharon Wheeler researcher in the Taylor and Francis Journal Sport, Education, and Society study explains that the advantages that exist will be more severe than the benefits if too forced.

The study was conducted by interviewing 50 families from 12 primary schools in northern and western England. Approximately 88 percent of all children out-of-school activities are up to 4-5 times a week, while 58 percent are more than one ekskul starting on the day.

Wheeler and his team found that elementary school children who were excluded and extra out-of-school activities for 4-5 times a week, even into the night, were easy and difficult.
