EOS Project - Finding a way forward

It's awesome and very much appreciated that you're looking to help people navigate the EOS platform. I followed you to hopefully keep up with your journey.

I did some quick research and here are my findings, which hopefully helps answer why some of the things you say are missing items above.

As published in Roadmap, “Phase 2 - Minimal Viable Test Network” was to demonstrate the following by Fall 2017:

  • P2P Network Code
  • Wasm Sanitation & CPU Sandboxing
  • Resource Usage Tracking / Rate Limiting
  • Genesis Import Testing
  • Inter-Blockchain Communication

Here is what's next:

Q1, 2018

  • Core Code enhancements
  • Governance enhancements
  • Developer Productivity
  • Community Launch Team specifications
  • Consensus and P2P Hardening
  • Testing

Q2, 2018

  • Support for Community Launch Team
  • pre-go-live Testing
  • Documentation and bug fixing during Launch

Q3-4, 2018

  • Performance and Scaling
  • Tuning
  • Incorporate Learnings from Go-Live Experience

It looks to me like what's currently available is only for the purpose of creating coins and doing simple configurations to private node. It doesn't look like they will release app development documentation until Q2.

Please let me know me if you find out otherwise.
