Recovering with Simple Exercises (part 2 of 3) - Arms.

Here's the simple exercises I do everyday just to get my upperbody muscles back a little..

The best part IMHO is that I can do these just sitting on the edge of my bed. All you need is a weight.. I use a dumbbell (I actually started with just 10 reps using the small 5 lb one, now I am using the more manly 10 lb dumbbell), but you could use whatever.. like a bottle filled with water, or even a rock or a bowling ball, whatever you got.

The first one is for shoulders mostly and you just hold the weight straight out between your legs. raise it up high. Lower and repeat for as many reps till you feel the burn..

I don't rest at all and just move the dumbbell behind my head to do some raises.. (for triceps)

Again, don't rest and move right into single arm bicep curls..

*repeat for left arm.

Dumbbells are perfect for this because it's fast and easy to use and move right away from one exercise to the next. Plus, the ones I got are coated with rubber so it doesn't hurt if you accidentally bump it into yourself. (did that more than a few times)
