The neighbors and I all band together and pay him, and the lawn are guys in the summer. Our road is private so we have to pay to have it plowed and pay for all Road repairs and maintenance. So twice a year we pay into a fund and Terry does the road and all of my neighbors driveways and in the summertime the lawn care guys mow all of our yards when they come. We get a better rate because it's a mass amount for them to take care of. We also have added in a few other perks, our basic cable TV gets paid for out of the fund and so does pumping septic tanks. We all agree that it ends up being a pretty good deal for us and it is also much less that I have to worry about. It just gets done.

wow that's amazing Melinda, what a set up! So this isn't an HOA or condo association or anything, this is just regular neighbors getting together and doing this? The same company or people do the snow and the lawns?

It's like a condo association, but we have no management company. One of my neighbors has been the treasurer for the past 20 years and she pays all the bills. Terry has been plowing our snow for years, and we just got a new lawn care service last year and it seems like everyone is very happy with them. They are doing an excellent job.

what internet service did you say you had? And do you know what speed it is?
we've been looking at Spectrum, they weren't available when we moved here but they say they are now, at least according to their website when we put in our zip code.
Hughes Net and some of these are advertising a speed of 25mps but Spectrum says there's is 100mps! I'm convinced most of our slow computer problems are from our slow internet.
Does it take a long time for a post to load if it has alot of photos? ours does, sometimes 5 or 10 minutes!

I have Spectrum and they recently upgraded to 200mps. Everything I see is instantaneous. There is never any lag time at all. I have absolutely no complaints about Spectrum. I have tried a couple of the other ones but they are by far the best

I am wrong with that number... It is 100 not 200. I just checked and my download speed is 71. Fast enough for watching movies and such.
